12. Two-pass loader
The 34-ton L260H wheel loader from Volvo can fill on-highway trucks in just two passes. It claims 5% more horsepower and torque and 15% more payload, versus previous models. Its load-sensing hydraulic system supplies power to functions only when required and helps improve fuel efficiency by 10%. Unlike previous versions, the L260H uses the weight of the boom and bucket, not pump flow, to lower the boom.
