8. High-capacity pipelayer
Liebherr presented its new-generation RL 56 Litronic pipelayer with a 158,733 lb lift capacity. The 281-hp, Tier 4f engine runs at a constant, low 1, 800 rpm and load-sensing implement hydraulics supply only oil as needed, which saves fuel. A hydrostatic travel drive delivers required power on soft ground or uphill grades, and a hydraulic boom and winch permit stepless and precise control for placing pipe with millimeter accuracy.
