HydraForce has promoted Russ Schneidewind to the position of Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing, succeeding Tony Casale, who was named to the new position of Executive Vice President of Business Development. The two promotions are part of the HydraForce initiative to focus on long-term development of business and new electrohydraulic technology at a global level.
Russ joined HydraForce in 1996, as a sales engineer serving original equipment (OEM) manufacturing customers in North America. He has a B.S. engineering degree from Iowa State University and an M.B.A. from Lake Forest College. During his HydraForce career, Russ grew OEM business not only in the U.S.A., but also in Europe and Asia, serving most recently as Sales Manager for Asia/Pacific.
“Russ is a driven individual who has proven he’s willing to try any new challenge,” said Tony Casale. “As an engineer as well as a sales professional, Russ understands that the success of HydraForce depends on our ability to sell engineered solutions. During his time here, he has accepted change and excelled beyond our expectations, developing customer relationships and opportunities on several continents to help HydraForce grow. Russ brings insight and expertise to the role of Vice President for Worldwide Sales and Marketing. He understands our strengths and the value we bring to the customer,” he added.
As Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing, Russ will oversee OEM and distributor sales and applications engineering for HydraForce cartridge valves, manifolds and electronic products in the Americas, Europe, and Asia, as well as global marketing and communication efforts. He reports to Tony Casale.
As Executive Vice President of Business Development, Tony Casale will lead HydraForce efforts to develop new business opportunities, encompassing the functions of strategic planning, worldwide technology including product engineering for both hydraulics and electronics, and worldwide sales and marketing. Tony has a B.S.M.E. degree in engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from Lake Forest College. He joined HydraForce in 1987.
