As we discussed in the last blog post, IFPE has been co-located with two shows since 2002— CONEXPO and CON/AGG. So what’s new for 2014 with these two co-located events?
According to AEM, the show’s owner, attendees will experience new navigation programs, making their getting around the shows much easier. There is improved shuttle service, an enhanced mobile app for navigation, and new internal routes between product areas to make your time on the show floor more efficient.
Plus, you’ll find a new Platinum Lot across from the South Hall, with 387,000 square feet of equipment for aggregate processing, asphalt paving, drilling, and much more. There is also a new Demolition and Recycling Pavilion. Its goal is to promote safe and economically feasible recycling of recoverable construction and demolition materials.
Lastly, there is a new series of education packages, which the show promoters say will result in more flexibility for attendees and no waster tickets.
Product and technology areas for the shows in 2014 are:
Admixtures
Aggregates
Asphalt production & paving
Blasting
Compaction
Concrete
