aem-logo-imageASAE: The Center for Association Leadership has selected the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) for a Gold Circle Award, which recognizes excellence, innovation and achievement in association/nonprofit marketing, membership and communications programs.

AEM is one of 14 Gold Circle Award honorees nationwide in 2018, winning for its IFPE/CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017 marketing campaign. ASAE noted that the outstanding quality of entries required judges to make tough choices to determine the Gold Circle Award winners.

“This award recognizes associations who are effectively including elements of creativity, design, technology, and metrics,” said ASAE President and CEO John H. Graham IV, FASAE, CAE.

The Association’s comprehensive IFPE/CONEXPO-CON/AGG exhibition marketing campaign invited attendees to “imagine what’s next” for the construction industries. A highlight was an interactive 360o virtual reality (VR) of the show to illustrate its size and scope and the technologies on display, including the show’s new Tech Experience.

The result: IFPE/CONEXPO-CON/AGG in 2017 was one of its largest ever, attracting nearly 128,000 attendees.

“We have a great team of talented and dedicated professionals whose innovative outlook, creativity and hard work produced an outstanding effort that translated into measurable results,” said Nicole Hallada, AEM VP marketing & communications. “They truly deserve this best-in-class recognition from their association community peers.”

Hallada noted that AEM’s IFPE/CONEXPO-CON/AGG marketing campaign included research and data mining, coupled with a variety of communications channels to target qualified industry professionals.

Tactics included digital marketing, print and electronic mailings, website and content marketing, social media, public relations, exhibitor engagement to help them promote their show presence, a supporting organization program, and a media advertising trade-out program.

Gold Circle Award honorees will be recognized during special ASAE ceremonies in May in Washington, DC. For more information, visit the online ASAE Gold Circle Awards page.

The next CONEXPO-CON/AGG, including the Tech Experience, takes place March 10-14, 2020 in Las Vegas, USA. Keep up-to-date with industry innovations and CONEXPO-CON/AGG through its “365” initiative at http://www.conexpoconagg.com/subscribe/.
