The Center for Compact and Efficient Fluid Power (CCEFP) will hold their annual meeting in conjunction with the National Fluid Power Association’s Workforce Summit at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, September 24-26, 2012. This event is open to all. It is a great opportunity to hear presentations about fluid power research underway at the University of MN, Purdue University, Georgia Institute of Technology, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), Vanderbilt University, Milwaukee School of Engineering and North Carolina A&T. Our research efforts are driven by the need to make fluid power more compact, efficient and effective (safe, quiet, leak-free and simple to use).
The NFPA Workforce Summit is an outstanding event to recruit some of the best employees, trained in fluid power by some of the most prominent researchers in the industry. Along with research presentations and student meeting opportunities there will overview presentations about the CCEFP and tours of the UIUC Laboratories and Research Park.
Highlights of the event include:
- Speed meetings
- Resume exchange
- Customized presentations
- Industry networking kiosks
- Poster sessions
- Elevator pitches
