I would like to introduce you to Michael Jermann, a journalism student who is currently studying at Kent State University. Michael has a particular interest in technical writing and he will be interning with us for the next few months. You’ll see his handiwork here on MobileHydraulicTips.com, as well as some of our sister sites.

One of his first projects is working on a very interesting series—profiling some of the major fluid power research universities in the U.S. and around the world. You can read his first profile, on the Milwaukee School of Engineering, here. There is a lot of exciting, groundbreaking research being conducted in fluid power, much of it being done thanks to partnerships between universities, manufacturers and the government. Coming soon are Michael’s profiles of the University of Minnesota and Georgia Tech.

We’ve also reorganized MobileHydraulicTips.com a little bit, including the addition of a Research tab. All of Michael’s university series will be filed under that section, so please watch for updates!
