One thing that I thought was under-covered at this Spring’s CONEXPO/CON-AGG show was a small display area that Volvo had with scale models of mobile equipment of the future. It was a fun little section that showcased what Volvo designers think we’ll be seeing at construction sites in 10 or 20 years. While Volvo has shown various sketches and videos in the past, it was nice to check out some actual models. Among the displays were:

Centaur concept hauler
Gryphin concept wheel loader
Fenix paver
