Gates Corp. has announced G8K MegaSpiral hydraulic hose as part of its new and improved MegaSys product line.
Gates Corp. MegaSys product line’s constant pressure spiral-wire and wire-braid hoses can be bent up to one-third the SAE specification, and its MegaCrimp and GlobalSpiral couplings guarantee leak-free connections with MegaSys hoses with maximum working pressures as high as 8000 psi.
Protective covers for hydraulic hoses are still used to protect hoses on mobile construction and mining equipment. However, with the need for higher-pressure systems and more compact machine designs, there is an increasing need for ways to safely protect machine operators and personnel from catastrophic hydraulic hose failure.
Gates Quick-Lok threadless couplings eliminate hydraulic leaks and increase assembly line productivity; innovative design makes them quick to connect in compact, power-intensive machines.
LifeGuard sleeving system is an economical alternative to costly metal shielding or re-routing of hose lines, contains 6,000 psi bursts and 3,000 psi pinhole leaks at 212°F for up to five minutes.
Full-Torque Nut coupling’s consistent sealing force offer unsurpassed resistance to cracking. A patented process allows Gates to manufacture couplings for wire-braid hydraulic hose assemblies comparable in cost to traditional staked-nut designs.
GLX Couplings are specifically designed for textile-reinforced hoses up to 1,000 psi working pressure.
