Bellows are used primarily to absorb axial movements and also be used for angular and lateral offsets. Single and double bellows joints, with or without external restraints such as tie rods, cable ties and braid, have many applications in aircraft ducting systems such as engine build up, air intakes and exhausts, and also drain lines.
