The National Fluid Power Association’s annual International Economic Outlook Conference takes place this week, at the Westin Chicago North Shore in suburban Wheeling, Ill.
This event, which I sort of see as the kickoff to the busy fall schedule of trade shows and conferences, is one of my favorites. The amount of industry data and economic perspectives given is impressive and always of a high caliber.
Speakers this week include:
Alan Beaulieu, ITR Economics: “U.S. market outlook and its effect on world economics”
John Walker, Oxford Economics: “Global growth expectations and the impact of Trumpanomics”
Kevin Surace, Appvance: “Future of manufacturing”
Eli Lustgarten, ESL Consultants: “Fluid power customer markets overview”
Jim Meil, ACT Research: “Fluid power industry forecast”
The event will also include a Future Leaders Event, a tour of Bosch Rexroth’s Electric Drives & Controls Div. in Hoffman Estates, Ill., which should be a great experience.
It’s not too late to register for the conference—visit here to sign up.
