The new configurator will make it much easier for Nason customers to visualize the wide variety of configurations available for every product, while making it quick and painless to specify and integrate those products into their designs.
Formerly, Nason customers would call or email to request specific product models for their designs. This process was labor intensive for the Nason engineering team, and often customers didn’t understand how many variations of each product were available. After receiving requests for interactive configuration capabilities and 3D previews, Nason saw an opportunity to take their business to the next level.
“Our paper catalog couldn’t properly convey the variety of product options we offer,” said Bill Sanders, Director, Sales & Marketing at Nason. “On products where our competition will offer four or five mechanical connections and a few electrical connections, we have 91 different mechanical connection options, and 68 different electrical connections. We had to go to an online part configurator because our catalog couldn’t provide enough detail for our customers to see what we really offer.”
