More power makes mining vehicles more productive

Greater power density and optimized control behavior in the implement hydraulics boost the productivity of mobile working machines in mining operations. Rexroth’s new high pressure axial piston unit A11VO series 40 fulfills all the necessary preconditions. In an open circuit, it generates a nominal pressure of 350 bar and a maximum pressure of 420 bar. Despite the extremely compact dimensions, the new design boosts performance and its numerous electrical and hydraulic control options improve the response of the implement hydraulics. OEMs are thus able to realize control systems which are perfectly tailored to the vehicle concerned.

The universal through-drive makes it easier to combine with a broad range of axial piston pumps, gear pumps and other hydraulic pumps, satisfying even the high power requirements of large-scale machines in mining operations. And the new model series also makes compliance with even stricter international emissions regulations easier. Available in five sizes from 110 ccm to 280 ccm, the series reduces noise emissions by up to 3 dB(A) compared to conventional pumps and boosts efficiency to 93 percent. That reduces diesel consumption and reduces the total cost of ownership.
