Every individual piece of a hydraulic cylinder is replaceable, especially when you work with an experienced and qualified hydraulic shop. Common cylinder types, such as NFPA and mill-type especially were designed with repair in mind. In this Design Guide, the editors of Fluid Power World provide tips on selecting cylinder repair services and what to expect when sourcing repaired and rebuilt hydraulic cylinders.
