Argo-Hytos is launching new sophisticated and versatile proportional electronic control units for hydraulic applications. The EL7 control unit offers multiple types of analog input signals (nine) and also gives the user the option to switch to the CAN bus interface. Everything is easily parametrizable via Bluetooth using the ARGO-HYTOS app, which is free to download for iOS & Android.

argo-hytos-electronic-valve-controls-EL7_HeroshotThe option of 1 or 2 solenoid versions for sizes 04, 06 and 10 or DIN rail versions as well as standard or bipolar coils helps cover all the needs of today’s market. The high level of resistance to ambient conditions such as vibrations and shocks ensure that the EL7 is not only applicable for the stationary market, but also for mobile applications.

The application itself offers many functionalities and customization options, such as custom PID regulation, Dither function for each coil separately, Output PWM up to 1kHz – the list goes on and on.

One of the most crucial aspects of the EL7 electronic control unit is that it is not only compatible with Argo-Hytos proportional valves such as PRM2, PRM6 or PRM8 families, but with every valve offered on today’s market.
