Efficient hydrostatic travel drives, quickly applied

The axial piston variable pump A30VG enables short engineering times for hydrostatic travel drives thanks to its full compatibility with the mobile electronics range from Rexroth and well-proven standard software for the EP control concept. The pump incorporated into the product range is suitable for wheel and travel drives with two hydraulically separate circuits and can therefore function as a hydraulic self-locking differential. unnamed-2

The axial piston variable pump A30VG is universally compatible with the BODAS mobile electronics range from Rexroth. It is compatible with controllers from series 3x and higher, as well as current pressure sensors. It can be adjusted mechanically, via the rotational speed or electronically. Proven, predefined software functions for control devices accelerate the implementation of new concepts for efficient hydrostatic travel drives, for example, wheel drives with longitudinal and cross locks. As a tested solution, Rexroth supplies the pumps with all electrical components and specially adapted radial piston motors.

The pump is designed for wheel drives in combination with a mechanical differential lock or series motor connection, as well as for roller drives. It supports convenient switching of the hydraulic motors while driving. In addition, the comprehensive concept covers the requirements of articulated machines with single-wheel drives. Construction machinery designers can also use them for synchronous working drives in a closed circuit with high efficiency requirements.

In swashplate design with integrated boost pump, the A30VG supplies two uniformly variable circuits in closed circuits, each with a flow of 28 ccm per revolution. The nominal pressure is 300 bar, the maximum pressure 350 bar. It achieves a high efficiency due to the absence of flow dividers. With through-drive flanges according to SAE-J744 (A/B/C) and a variety of hubs, it integrates flexibly into the design of construction machinery. A30VG has the lowest space requirement among comparable conventional pumps.
