EDEM announces it has joined the Siemens PLM Software Solution Partner Program as a Software and Technology Partner. 
EDEM and Siemens have developed a co-simulation capability between EDEM and LMS Virtual. Lab Motion software tools. This solution provides manufacturers of heavy equipment such as dragline buckets, backhoe loaders and excavators with new insights into machine-material interaction.
The solution allows engineers to introduce realistic bulk material behaviors to their multi-body dynamics simulations, and offers unrivalled insight into how material loads are transferred throughout a mechanical system.
