Daman Products is committed to improving the educational experiences of young people in the community, and one way it is stepping up to the plate is by supporting the Fluid Power Action Challenge.
The NFPA’s Fluid Power Action Challenge helps seventh and eighth grade students build critical thinking and problem solving skills by using mechanical and hydraulic engineering concepts. Students are fully engaged in a hands-on team challenge where they design and build machines using real-world applications. And, according to Daman officials, they love the experience.
Daman is seeking assistance from other companies and organizations to help support the project. This year, the company is offering new sponsorship options, including:
Champion Sponsor (limit 1): $2,500 helps overall funding of the event and includes the sponsoring company’s logo prominently displayed on the event sponsor banner and on t-shirts, recognition on the Daman website, social media promotions, and the option to display promotional materials at the event. Daman will also cover hotel and dinner the night before the challenge for up to two people if the sponsor decides to attend the event.
Award Sponsor (limit 3): $1,500 helps to purchase the awards and includes a large logo on sponsor banner and on t-shirts, website, social media promotions, and an option to display promotional materials at the event.
T-Shirt Sponsor (limit 10): $350 includes the sponsor logo on t-shirts, the sponsor banner, Daman’s website, and social media promotions.
Material Kit Sponsor: $250 helps buy materials for students used on workshop days, Challenge day, and the process of development between the two events. It includes the sponsor name on the banner and website.
Toolbox Kit Sponsor: $100 helps buy materials for the toolboxes and includes the sponsor name on the banner and website.
In addition, in-kind and monetary donations in any amount are always welcome. All sponsors are recognized on the website and through email.
