Minneapolis—Continental Hydraulics announced that it has been acquired by Duplomatic, an Italy-based manufacturer of hydraulic valves.
Continental Hydraulics, the largest manufacturer of variable volume vane pumps in North America, and Duplomatic, a European leader in solenoid and proportional valves, are combining their expertise to expand product offerings, create cost efficiencies and make new opportunities for growth and innovation.

Continental Hydraulics will retain its name, management team and staff. Manufacturing of existing products including new product development will continue to be managed from its manufacturing facility based in Savage, Minn.
