Milwaukee, Wis.—The National Fluid Power Association (NFPA) is partnering with the Center for Compact and Efficient Fluid Power (CCEFP) to host half-day, in-depth college level technical courses for practicing engineers at IFPE 2011 on March 21-22, 2011 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The new IFPE college-level courses offer hands-on technical knowledge on fluid power and hydraulics with a focus on hydraulic fluids and their applications; design, modeling and control of hybrid vehicles; noise in hydraulic fluid power systems; and basic lubrication. These sessions will benefit practicing engineers and others involved in design and manufacturing processes. Courses include:
Monday, March 21
8:00 am – 12:00 pm: Basic Lubrication
1:00 – 5:00 pm: Hydraulic Fluids and Their Application
Tuesday, March 22
8:00 am – 12:00 pm: Noise in Hydraulic Fluid Power Systems
1:00 – 5:00 pm: Design, Modeling and Control of Hybrid Vehicles
Admission for each course is $300 in advance, $325 onsite. If registering for more than one course, admission is $225 in advance and $250 onsite. Upon completion of these courses, Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available.
