Changes to Muncie Power Products Hydraulic Reservoirs

June 18, 2012 By hcentorbi

Muncie Power Products added 11 new part numbers  to its program. Part numbers will be changing on all reservoirs to reflect a more consistent part number system, similar to that used on PTOs and pumps. Eight base models of current design reservoirs will now be considered “Legacy” models.

Muncie Power ProductsMuncie introduced new pricing for both its legacy designs and new part numbers. The price sheet defines these changes and includes the reservoirs.

The new product offering will continue to include all of the same benefits Muncie previously had. This includes standard features, such as site and temperature gauge, 2” porting * and a return line diffuser* (* where applicable). In the market place, tanks can be identified using dimensional vs. usable capacity volumes. MPP’s usable capacity “Legacy” product was larger than the typical market offering and cost much more to manufacture in materials and labor. For example, their 55 gallon A55 round reservoir has a usable capacity of 66 Gallons dimensionally. Moving forward, all part numbers reflect the dimensional capacity. The new part numbers are competitively priced, while the “Legacy” reservoirs are priced at a higher level.
