The Center for Compact and Efficient Fluid Power will be conducting a webinar on Wednesday, January 25 at 1:00 pm Eastern time. The webinar is part of a series designed to showcase the graduate students performing research within the CCEFP.
Advance and individual registration is required to participate. Register here.
The webinar topics are: Free Piston Engine Based Off-Road Vehicles, presented by Keyan Liu, University of Minnesota; and Variable Flow Gerotor Pump, presented by Troy Hintzsche, Research & Development Engineer–Hydraulics Division, Concentric AB.
Keyan Liu received his bachelor’s degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and is currently a PhD student in the University of Minnesota, working with Prof. Zongxuan Sun. His research is mainly focused on the control of free piston engines and the application in off-road vehicles. Specifically, the main task is to control the FPE to achieve independent flowrate and pressure output. He wishes to work in an R&D department in industry after graduation.
