Bosch Rexroth valves used for variety of functions

Rexroth Logic Valves With its controllable 2/2 directional cartridge valve LC2A-1X, Bosch Rexroth opens a variety of functions in hydraulics using standard parts. The series comes in 7 sizes ranging from 16 to 100. As the functionality is built from individual standard parts, engineering and assembly costs can be reduced. Circuit modifications and repairs also become less costly.

The series with standardized cavities according to ISO 7368 carries the principle of modular design over to hydraulics. Users can directly mount almost any LFA logic cover in the Rexroth standard program, which let them create any hydraulic function. This increases the flexibility for later modifications, as only the logic cover needs to be replaced in order to adapt the functionality to new requirements.

The LC2A-1X series incorporates improvements in specific details. For instance, type tested versions with closed switch position monitoring are now available across the entire range. Alternatively, a variant monitoring the open switch position is also feasible. All sizes can easily be retrofitted on site with a Q7- type adjustment-free position switch.

The LC2A-1X valve series lets engineers set different functional priorities, including a direct replacement of existing standard logics if a user wants to add position monitoring or prevent internal leaks. New additional piston models allow for dynamic check-valve functions or analog position sensing.

In sizes 80 and 100, the hydraulic flow parameters were again optimized through design modifications. In combination with the shaft seal, hydraulic losses are reduced, which in turn contributes to better energy efficiency.
