Attica Hydraulic Exchange joins forces with HRD

February 22, 2011 By Paul Heney

Attica Hydraulic Exchange logoIn August 2010, Attica Hydraulic Exchange, the world’s largest hydraulic product repair rebuild house, was acquired by the Private equity group Stonebridge LLC. Attica has worldwide presence in the industrial hydraulic product service areas and is known for fast service and quality products.

Recently, as part of the holding company Hydraulex Global, Attica merged with Seattle-based Hydraulic Repair and Design (HRD). HRD is active in mobile hydraulics, particularly focusing on closed-loop pump, motor and cylinder repair. The two companies will operate independently under one marketing and sales management department, lead by P.K. Guha, Senior EVP, marketing & sales and corporate development. The chairman and CEO of Hydraulex will be Shirish Pareek. Both companies will complement and supplement each others’ product lines to support a broad range of the worldwide hydraulic market.

According to Guha, this combination will reduce customer’s machinery and equipment downtime and increase productivity.

Attica and HRD will participate under one banner at the IFPE/CONEXPO SHOW in Las Vegas in March 2011, as well as at the Hannover Messe fair in Germany in April 2011.
